i got this yesterday as im going to prep my computer to sell, was only £20 on the zon and with prime, but ive never once looked at those benchmarks people show, so im interested to see what this reads at.

(off topic, but i like how they include screws and looks a little more presentable unlike my WDG was)

is the software something already included in windows or something specific i need to download from the web?

i ended up having time to look for a program, AS SSD Benchmark, looks like what people use? anyways, just tested it out on my WDG ssd & 1tb hdd, but i am unable to test the KingSpec as its not showing up in the list?

i connected it via my usb dock, formatted it via Disk Management, allocated the space, set it to online and the first time it did this, the Folder menu popped up with a little window saying i need to format to use which it couldnt do, so now every time i format the drive in Disk Management and turn it on/off its not showing up in the 'This Pc' bit, but stated as an healthy drive, am i missing something because what ive been trying worked in the pass???

im using my computer at the moment, so i wanted to test the new ssd before i swap all the drives round, so if its working i shouldnt have a problem installing windows, just odd i couldnt use it for storage.

no, at the time i was still using the dock, i managed to sort it, for some reason it just wasnt formatting correctly , but its all good now.
