Hi, I originally built my PC over 5 years ago, time for an upgrade if I had the money ! Problem is my SSD memory for my C drive is almost full and is making the PC run slow. Is it possible to double up SSDs for the c drive or do I need to just get a single larger SSD ? My mother board is a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite. I'm not sure if I can add any more SSDs to it. I have tried to move some of my larger programs to another drive but a lot of them won't let me move them.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

When you say SSDs does that mean you're already using the nvme slot?

If you're not i'd slap an nvme in there and use that as the c drive, that'll free up SSD space just for everything else.

As said, you need to be technically precise about what you have if you want meaningful advice.
'Doubling up' would mean RAID 0 or JBOD neither of which would be a good idea.

You should be able to add another SATA drive to your system and it won't matter what drive you've got installed just now. Then just move whatever you want to the new drive, which will free up space on your current SSD.

Yeah, that can be tricky. You can normally move all the important files somewhere else (user files, I mean) and then uninstall/reinstall on the other drive. If you're using something common like the Adobe suite, there might be a guide somewhere on how to do it and which files to copy/keep.

How many do you have? From what I can see, your board has 2x M.2 slots and 6x SATA ports, so I'd think you still have options.
