Some AMD cards are now approaching MSRP

Even got that RT mirror reflection in

Before anyone starts crying, I couldn't really give a toss if you like RT or not.

I would suggest that no one pays over RRP right now.

Stock is everywhere, prices continue to fall.

Just wait it out a few more months and we will be back at RRP.

Very much so, screaming like children at anyone who doesn't care about RT, or actually think it's just very meh. No other opinions allowed though, just like Russia, China, North Korea.

AMD fanboys are victims of raytracing and appear to be suffering from stockholm syndrome, maybe someone should inform NATO of the crimes against humanity happening on this forum.

RIP RTX 4000 series if 850w is needed for the flagship.. the Frick?

I'm not interested if the power requirements are going to rocket, but remember there are people who run several 3090s already. I only went for a 1000W PSU as I think it will handle these short term spikes better. I doubt I can push beyond 500W max with my current setup.

The new cards won't use 850w, Samsung 8nm to TSMC 5nm is about a 50% improvement in performance per watt and that's just the process and not allowing for architecture improvements so unless the performance gains are going to be well over 100% then I doubt we'll see much more power used than this generation.

I'd say maybe a 60% performance improvement for the top card pulling 400w.
