Some days we don't get post

Some days we don't seem to get post, but the other streets around us do.

Last Saturday our street didn't get any and today it doesn't look like we're going to get any.

It just seems to be random days of the month where we don't get any post! It's always when I'm expecting something!

Why could this be?

same happens with us... i suspect the posty saves 2 or 3 days of letters.
