I'm not sure whether to go modular or not with psu as the ronin has this blanking feature to hide the unsightly wires.. (does modular really increase that much airflow) will save a little going for below psu, do I need 850 above?

The ram is fine, as is the non-modular Psu. As long as you have decent cable management, then it is not a problem. My Psu is non-modular, so all unnecessary cables are hidden behind the mobo.
If you are not sure about something, it does`nt make it a dumb question. It`s only dumb if you don`t ask.
 
Ok, PC is built as per my new sig :) The Samung evo 250 is my first SSD and Holy hits I love SSD!!!

Now I didnt buy a graphics card yet for some reason or another! Whats is currently the best deal around for say up to £300? remeber I may add another card in a couple on months time!

Gaming at 1080p currently!
 
The nvidia 770 is a "Super Duper" 680. The 670 is a cutdown 680 but they cut off very little so overclocking essentially get's you 680 performance.

There have been recent price cuts to the 670 as well as AMDs 7950 and 7970. These are all still very capable GPUs.

Sorry to dig this up again, The final piece to my current build was the graphics card and due to a £1600 vet bill I had to hold off buying.

I need to buy soon so what is the best card currently up to £300
