Some help please

Hi just bought a new hard drive and processer from ocuk, so formatted my pc, when loading my ati drivers on the pc goes to boot and then turns itself off to start in safe mode and the error says its a driver problem,so when i remove the drivers pc boots ok, tried loads of drivers the pc does the same do you think my card has had it? Only had the card about 1 year its a power colour x800xl agp x8 bought it from ocuk.Any advice please.

Have you installed the mobo drivers?

Hello mate, yeah done that it gets to the point when its gonna draw the screen and then it turns of and i get a blue screen with writing on it but it goes to quick to read lol.

Im not sure it is a card problem. Which drivers are you using, if the newer cats you need Net 1.1 or higher i beleive. Also what operating system, if using 64 bit OS you need different drivers too.

Also have you tried either of the omega drivers [ http://omegadrivers.net/main.php ] or the NGO drivers [ http://www.ntcompatible.com/NGO_ATI_Optimized_Driver_v1.5.5_2.5_s47980.html ]
