Im after a new moniter, as this one is a bit naff, a Viewsonic 22" basic moniter.

I want something that does FULL HD 1920x1080 and has good response and contrast and colours. The budget is £230 max, anything will be considered...but i would LOVE either a 22" or a 24", as i think bigger screen is more pleasure. ;)

Also would i be able to mount my current moniter on this?

Heres my current moniter :(

* Resolution 1680 x 1050.

* Analogue input.

* Response time 5ms.

* Contrast ratio 2000:1.

* Brightness 300cd/m2.

* 16.7m colours.

* Anti-glare.

* Pixel pitch 0.276mm.

* Viewing angles 170 horizontal, 170 vertical.

* RGB analogue connection.

* VESA wall mountable.

* Power saving facility.

* Size 40.4 x 44.8 x 21cm.

* Idea for small office, student and typical internet users.

* Manufacturer's 3 year guarantee.

good colours and good response.....try a crt:p

Would love to see a HD crt :confused:

Anyway that sort of resolution on a budget I dunno if it is possible, there is the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-025-OK&groupid=17&catid=1120&subcat= way over budget and too large, but would be perfect from the reviews and feedback from other users.

Sadly I havn't owned any of the 22's and cant comment. I did have one of the ocuk (dgm) 24" when they were about £230 and the quality is amazing sadly they don't sell them but maybe you can try looking for a second hand one with that sort of budget?

fast reponse times but poor viewing angles...poor viewing angles can make the image darker/brighter just by a bit of head movement

The wall mount bracket should work as the monitor is VESA wall mountable and the wall mount bracket has "200x100, 100x100 and 75x75 fittings which complies with VESA MIS-D"
