Hi,
I'm running Vista 64bit on a samsung spinpoint 750gig F1, and i have another of these drives as a backup both running sata
At least 2 maybe 3 times a day the backup drive dissapears from windows, and i have to reboot for it to appear, i try a search in device manager but it doesnt find it only my main drive.
I have looked in the windows logs and i get.. (IDE\DiskSAMSUNG_HD753LJ_________________________1AA01107\5&1a0ef8b5&0&1.0.0) disappeared from the system without first being prepared for removal.
It like it loses power or something ?
Can anyone help me with how i'd go about diagnosing whats causing this, i'd appreciate it very much..cheers
