Hey everyone,
I've recently got a macbook pro and wanted to install xp on a small partition using bootcamp just for the sake of having a couple of games and office applicatiosn on there. I followed the bootcamp assistant tool and all was going well until it rebooted when setting up windows and i got the following error:
disk read error.
Press any key to restart
Upon some research i needed to have made sure the partition was formatted before the install, which i didnt, but how do i format this partition so i can install windows successfully on it?
I tried using the disk utility but i cudnt find an option, i used the clean option and it said it formatted it to FAT file system but i recieved the same error message
any thoughts on whats going on?
