Whats the thing at the top? The bottom two are patch panels, but the third thing thats powered by a kettle lead i have no idea.... some sort of fancy switch/router?

Looks like some sort of fiber optic device, the TRIB numbers reminds me of some CISCO gear.

yes i know what it is a mess, but yeah them pics are even too big for 1600x1200 desktop

and no i dont know what to say about that kit, but im sure others will be along shortly!

It'll be some line providers NTE,
we have something similar, fibre comes in, gets output as something like G.703 into another NTU, then out to a router.

Everytime we get a link they bring in a different bit of kit, and there is never any info on it for the curious
