Some january sales and needed bike upgrades, anything wrong?

That's my wish-list at CRC, anything to avoid there, anything i can get cheaper, or better without really spending anymore? Don't really wanna top £200, and that includes buying some new shoes locally which will be around £30 i guess (unless i go mad, which i'd rather not!).

I also assume my crank brother candy SL clippy things (the name escapes me right now) will fit on almost any shoe i buy even if its shimano right? I may take them the shop just to make sure...

//Edit: Poosticks, just noticed, half of that is out of stock, right well can't be bothered right now, i'll try and throw something together if i get the chance in between lectures tomorrow...

but they come with centre lock rotors so you'll need to get some 6 bolt rotors seperatly like the 160mm XT rotors.

i've done over 1600miles on my lx brakes and there's still about 3/4 pad life left and they self adjust and yes i love them! :)

Thats the name i was after, and i'm well aware i own them :p What i meant was, some shoes are slightly different and i'm not sure if they'll fit them all correctly, or make clipping in/out as easy as others? Also shimano would obviously try and make them a little incompatible with a rival brand by default surely?

What size are the rotors with the 2007 XT's? I can't quite see...?

Can you explain the difference, i don't understand apart from weight how one handlebar can be better than another? Expect for slight difference in rise et al? I don't mind buying the truvativ i mean theyre all about the same price, i just don't understand how it can be any better?

True true, i'm into general XC'ing & mountain trails, with the odd bit of downhill (but i'm parp and my bike isn't up to it, so i avoid if i can...).
Bike i've currently got is an old 2003/4 Spec A1 frame (from the hardrock but far removed now), with marzzochi bombers, LX F/R mechs. I've got some mavic XC 717's which are disc and rim, and time has come to put some discs on this thing since my brakes are fubarred. This means i've got to replace the integrated lever set i've currently got (they seemed like a good idea years ago).
Think that covers most stuff you may need to know?
 
i would guess 160mm as it's usually the standard, to get bigger ones you usually have to specify a larger size. might be worth seeing if a LBS will price match them with free fitting unless you know how to set up and bleed disc brakes, though it does'nt look too difficult really with something like the shimano brake bleed kit CRC have.

oh you've got disc hubs right? 6 bolts on the left side or a centre lock spline thingy?

Yeah IS mounts, hope pro II. So thats fine too, i'm guessing 160mm front back should be sufficient i suppose.

It doesn't it says it comes with a normal joining pin on the CRC description...

Right so here is the updated list, everything there is in stock and ready to go. It's over £200 but i added a £15 front mech since i kinda need it so i'll let myself off. Anything i should change? Here are my thoughts:

Juicy 5's for the front, for the bigger rotor (the 3's 185mm rotor are out of stock).
Juicy 3's at the back for a cheapish disc brake that will far surpass my rims
XT shifters since the LX pair i wanted aren't in stock and these are only £10 more for the pair...
LX Front mech since i kinda need a new mech anyway (mine is old and battered) everything else is technically 9sp so even though it works just about i might as well spend the extra £15
Chain & Powerlink are self explanatory
X-Lite XC Riser 7075: I've never heard of this, but its light and cheap, and made from aircraft grade zinc aluminium alloy so i can't see how its bad until i fall bad again and break it :)

Any ideas then?
