Some new features on the website...

My issue with the product listings is the specs given, they're just not consistent. For example incomplete listing or specifications. I'll more than often have to go to the manufacturers site to get the full spec, bit of a PITA.

Suggestion, apologies if already mentioned or it already does and i've just not noticed:

A 'system basket' that sorts your basket into typical system elements such as CPU, Motherboard, RAM, etc. etc. so for people building a system it makes it nice and easy to see what you've got and what you may have forgotten.

I've done it plenty where i've specced a machine to a budget and then realised I did something daft like forget a hard drive in my excitement at choosing graphics cards and then have to slash £50 back out the spec to fit it in.

I know at least one of your competitors do this and it's a fantastic feature IMO.

Presents an opportunity to encourage more sales too as people will look at the typical components, see a section empty and think 'Oh, I hadn't thought about a sound card' and maybe end up adding one in fo example.

Thats an excellent suggestion!

Kenai, Great suggestion. I'd like this too.. :)

:)

Just because i'm a bit bored waiting for something:

Something along those sort of lines is what I was thinking, though probably in a more 'system logic' suitable order. Obviously you'd want it on an optional basis, as it would be of no benefit to people just looking at buying a couple of bits but for those wanting a full system, I think it provides a useful way of displaying a basket

The shop needs optimising for mobile, I'm on iOS6x using Chrome and every page refreshes 2-3 times before loading completely.

think you need to work on the recommended thing that appears when looking at items i keep getting stuff from last weeks "this week only"
along with the "today only " from three days back
they show as lower price but as soon as you click on it shows the real price

I like this new addition to the site, some views are more useful than others for certain products and it's handy to be able to switch between different types when you want to go from a list to compare quickly to large thumbnails that let you get a better view of the product visual.
