Hey dudes, just wanted to share some of my sleeving work, I have literally hundreds of photos of my power supply work, USB and audio cables, so here is just a few!

I have a load more so if you are interested in anything in particular, give me a shout and I can show you some photos.

Nice work :)

Thanks man!

coiled USB looks awesome, but after checking the prices, I think I'll stick to the £1 generic ones.

They aren't the same thing though, I make everything by hand, with quality sourced components, large range of colours, any length and far better build quality.

£50 for a set of custom braided cables, is that steep?

Its cheaper than most other places that offer hand-made, bespoke extension sets. My full sets costs the same as a 24 pin from another supplier.

But still £22 more than the Bitfenix kits, whats the difference apart from being able to add a couple of different colours?

As I said, they are made by hand, to your requirements.

The Bit-Fenix ones are limited in colours, I can offer different colours, styles materials and so on, they don't offer that. I have access to a countless number of colours, camos and patterns etc.

You want them long, short, rainbow, straight, whatever, I can do that, stuff off the shelf can't.

I make everything, absolutely any cable on my site, by hand, with quality components. I source most of my parts from the UK or US. For example, I don't use cheap quality crimps, only genuine Molex ones, same as my connectors, no corners are cut, with anything. If you are spending 2K on your rig, I don't see an issue in another 10-20 on the finishing touches.

Sorry to go on, I feel I need to justify my pricing.

Quality difference.

So, does this meant OCUK are doing something with Pexon?

Maybe :p

For a while I liked those Corsair's but heard similar stories. Its not being picky at all because they should have tight thick braid to avoid unsightly wires. I appreciate custom braiding because it takes time and skill to get it right and sets the case off.

The quality of the braid on Corsair replacement kits is not very good, I will be honest. I am not a fan. The braid feels a little tacky, the weave is loose and the colours are drab.

Appreciate the kind words, a LOT of time goes into my work, glad it shows. :D

How would you do it? Take the PSU apart and wire it up that way? Or just create the sleeved extensions then plug the existing PSU cables into them?

Yep, take the lid off and sleeve it, it would void warranty, but I've done it loads with not a single unit die. I actually prefer it to modular cables like those on Corsair units, they are easier to blow up.

I think the OP and me are going to become friends ;) I may have to start to ask you prices for custom braiding cables directly to the PSU that I use in some of my spec's.........

No worries dude, you know where I am now! :D

I have messaged the OP :)

*note to OP (I would setup your trust as it will make it easier for forum members to contact you) ;)

For some reason, I can't get into messages, perhaps send me an email?

Cool. How long would it take though given that my PSU is currently plugged into my machine? :p

Around 5 days, Im very quiet at the moment, due to Christmas. If you want it done quick, let me know.

These look really nice and price seems reasonable. Might be interested in a set after Christmas maybe... Do you sleeve sata cables too? Tried looking on your site couldn't find any

I do SATA Cables yes.

Very nice work indeed, nice to see such a bespoke area coming to OCUK.

May be tempted to send my PSU your way to finish my rig off nicely!

Thanks man, it is nice to get my stuff out to more people, its such a big thing though, if you are watercooling, painting your case etc, the custom sleeving brings it all together, a lot of people dont bother with it

TBF, I think a lot of people don't know about it. Most people are hiding their cables and showing off their water pipes instead. I think by showing off how pretty you can make sleeving, people will wake up to what is available.

I don't bother with any of that stuff myself, I just like a black stealthy case with no windows or the likes. That way I can put really ugly stuff in the case if I want. No worries if the motherboard I want clashes with the colours of the graphics card or hard drives!

Haha, thats cheating! :D

Thanks Rich, I have not done anything to try and garner business from this thread, I simply wanted to share some of my work.

As Rich said, we are working on something, down the line, so who knows yet. I am working on a set of cables for Rich the next few weeks with the dogs danglies MDPC-X sleeving. I will post some pics of the progress later down the line.

In regards to the Super Flower PSUs, I would have to have a look at them. It looks as if they use a different pinout and propitiatory connectors, but it would be more than doable.

Hi,
If you were to sleeve the Golden Green HX (Superflower PSU), as it is non modular, I would need to send the PSU to you right? And how much is an estimate of the cost for the sleeving of it?
Thanks,
Bakht

Shoot me a PM over the trust system mate. To answer, yes, you would need to send me the PSU to do.
