Decided to go HD, so having this installed in a few days. currently we have sky+ box in our main room, and i have an older sky box in the living room connected via a magic eye.

1- can i just replace the sky+ box in the living room when the new hd box gets installed in the main room?
2- for the hd box, is it just a swap-over from the sky+ box, or anything else involved cabling wise?
3- my TV only has one hdmi socket and this is taken up by the xbox360, im assuming the hd box runs through hdmi, so how would i connect both?

Thanks.

The Sky+HD box needs 2 feeds from the dish to use it to its full potential, so assuming you've already got 2 feeds in both locations you'd be fine running Sky+HD in one room and Sky+ in the other (assuming that's what you wanted to do)

In terms of connecting it to your TV, these days the only option to get HD out of the boxes is to use HDMI. You could use component (or even VGA) for the 360, it'd still be HD and in 99% of cases it should look identical.
