HyperX Savage Red 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (HX324C11SRK2/16) CAS 11-11-11-35 Timings @ £64.99

Which one would be the better choice? System spec in sig. My current 8GB would go into my sons Christmas build. I don't know how the timings affect the MHz.

There's mixed reviews/benchmarks online about memory speeds but it does look like it only makes a couple of frames difference in games which I'm guessing won't even be noticeable.

The HyperX is the 'best' from the specs listed though as others observed it'll make very little difference.

As a rough thing to remember, timings are measured in clocks, so higher frequencies with proportionately higher timings are equal in latency, but better in bandwidth. e.g. 1600MHz C8 is the same as 2400MHz C12 for that particular timing, but can pass more data through in a given time period.

I've ordered the HyperX kit, only a few quid difference and they look nicer ;)
