As a few of you know I may or may not run a wedding videographer company that will go nameless. We were shortlisted for Best Videographer at the Wedding Ideas Awards 2012.
We were up against a couple of big boys - namely Bloomsbury Films (although we beat them at a different award) and Shoot It Yourself (who were on Dragons Den and got backing).
We went to the awards ceremony in London on Friday and we totally didn't expect to win - we both expected Shoot It Yourself to win simply because their new and they've thrown a heap of cash at Wedding Ideas.
Anyway, we won
.
We won a shiny award (below) - although it's a nightmare to keep clean - and a bottle of 190€ Luxor Brut 24k Gold champagne. And of course with it comes a load of exposure with the UK's biggest wedding magazine. We spoke to the staff afterwards and they said we won by a clear mile and they'd be able to give us the feedback from the judges which we're looking forward to hearing.
Thanks to everybody that commented before. At least some people still have a bit of community spirit.
