Where it is lacking is copying from the internal drive to the external drive as it’s DRAMless so once the buffer is small it slows dramatically on the copy.
Not just the fact it's DRAMless, but also it's QLC flash.
Once the SLC cache is exhausted e.g. if moving games from the internal storage, the transfer rate ends up at <70Mbps, which is slower than most hard drives. Additionally it's got a very low write endurance, meaning if you are using it to move games back/forward, or even the huge updates that games receive these days, potentially you could easily burn through that

P5 Plus 2TB is a much safer choice imo (£20 more than the 2TB P3 Plus)
