Ok so recently i been having problems with my zotac gtx 770 an u guys were great in helping me out but no one knew what the problem was. What was happing is that every time i stressed the card out the screen would turn black and i would have to restart the computer. I though it was the graphic card and got a replacement and yet the second one did not work either.I brought this monitor from overclock Iiyama Prolite E2773HS-GB1 27" Widescreen LED 1MS Monitor - Black. Now the reason my graphic card not working is because of this monitor , i tried it on a different monitor and it worked perfectly fine, i been stressing it out for the last 30 mins and no problems what so ever. Could someone explain why this would happen? Thanks

P.s i guess i will have to call up tomorrow morning and ask for some kind of replacement as i did like the montoir.

750w crosshair and ye it gose black on the Iiyama Prolite E2773HS-GB1 27" Widescreen LED 1MS Monitor which is the new screen i got and i though it was the actuall card lol but i tried it on my old screen, its working perfect no crash been stressing now for 45 mins and all fine, its just weird and wanted to know why

I'm guessing a compatibility issue between the card and the screen so that the screen isn't getting the necessary "keep on" signal in exactly the right format or timing in some way. If that's the case then you may have no better luck with an identical replacement screen or card.

Our maybe a damaged cable? Tried swapping the cables around?

Tried a different cable? I guess it could be faulty and the newer monitor freaks out more easily than your older one (a wild guess anyway).

Worth eliminating at least :)

Ye i swapped cables around and nothing , anyway i am getting a refund on this gtx 770 its ****ed me off like mad and getting the Radeon R9 280X, and if that fails well then the whole system is going out of the window, but its weird on this old montoir it take much longer to get a black screen compared to the new one

never heard of a "crosshair" is it a non brand one or something
if it was me id do a driver sweep & try lots different games to make sure it is hardware prob

ye checked window and it has nothing so ye it probs is the psu and i guess i will replace that, replace the card is well to make sure but ye i mean atm i have not stressed the card at all and its all working dandy so god knows what is up

well gfx cards use a lot more power when they ramp up, its like 40watts idle but many times that under load (depending on card)

it could just as easy be software tho

well hopefully by next friday i got a new monitor and a new grahic card coming, i will see if its all fine then if not then it has to be 100% the psu so at least that narrows it down
