Looks like it's got something against Dreeder. EOC gets it right but Stanford is broken. They also seem to have taken exception to my comments about the missing points from 14th July as I can't get on to the offical forum unless I block cookies and don't log on. :rolleyes:

I think that's actually due to some problems with the forums

It appears that the database driving the forum software is having a few problems with its tracking of sessions.

If you are currently browsing as a guest, be that as a new user, or a registered one, do not try and login at present.

If you do try and login you will most likely be presented by a blank page, and any subsequent visits to pages on this forum will cause the same thing to happen.
If this happens to you, you need to delete the session_id cookie for forum.folding-community.org, the name of the cookie is phpbb2fah_sid, then restart your browser to make sure.

As long as you remain as a guest user, you will still be able to browse the forums, and you can track the progress of this problem in this thread: http://forum.folding-community.org/viewtopic.php?t=20820

Users who have set their profile to "Remember me" should not be affected by this problem and can post as normal.
It might be useful if members who can see this post, repost it in their home forums, just to let people know whats going on.

It takes a lot more than what you've posted to get banned - even I didn't get banned for my little rule-breaking session :o :p


edit: A quick look through the full stats list shows another person who is showing as out of order - I'm thinking this is something to do with beta testing (probably of the closed variety) but since I got myself thrown out of that little club I won't bother making that link for them :p

Nah, sod 'em. I really don't believe they realise how big a problem it was or are taking it seriously. Let's seem them fix one thing at a time....

Fair enough - I think it's a taste of things to come with the extra popularity of the project, it's not the same project it used to be but I'd still rather be doing it than anything else.

Before yesterday though I hadn't even visited the main forums for a month or two as tensions there were constantly becoming an issue - nothing devalues the feeling I get from being a part of Folding like a good old flame fest often fuelled by those who have been chosen to be in positions of authority :rolleyes:

Anyway it's the project for me still and I can't think of any other team I'd rather be fighting alongside :cool:

The aggregate is the Default and Google teams that people don't choose to be in so they don't really count in the standings - the true team position is always two positions higher than that figure.

If you look on the teams stats page it shows the two aggregate teams and then the actual top 100 teams.

Looks like progress may be being made and a re-credit could be on the cards...

So don't give up hope yet - if your WUs were received (which as I recall you were sure they were from the logs) then a cross check between what was received and what was credited should give them all they need to give you your hard-earned points back - here's hoping :)
 
Hmm.. it should be a relatively small task to sort the order out for sig stats, but shouldn't have to!
