Something interesting for £1200

Hi,

The RR day has re-ignited my interest in all things motoring, and now I want out of the Saab!

Not a lot of cash to spend, however I'm not after something amazing, just something that's going to keep my interest.

I'm sure you know I'm not shy when it comes to a bit of spanner time, and I don't use my car daily, so hopefully there's a lot of options.

Ideas anyone?

That's in Ireland and far to cheap for a decent working s13.

A E36 318is maybe a decent idea as they're fairly cheap and drive very nicely. They can also be made adequately quick (more so than a mx-5) with a cheap chip and a bit of weight reduction.
