Need to synchornise game folders with mods etc across local network so as I add mods to my gaming PC, they will automatically update on another PC without having to manually copy/paste.
I use Vice Versa to automatically sync/backup my stuff to another PC. Works well in conjunction with the scheduler they have also.
It can detect changes and automatically sync across so all you need to do is download on the one machine and it will proporgate the changes to wherever. It's not cheap (about 70 quid for the software and scheduler) but I looked around and this was the only one that worked properly. I'm sure there are fancier ways of doing it, but for windows 7 to win 7 machines for me this was the easiest
I have tried the above software but only allows to upload to one specific folder.
I am trying to share game saves across multiple PC's so need to be able to specify different folders on remote PC's for different file transfers, i that makes sense?
Wont live mesh do this? I use it to sync my docs folder, work docs folder and photos folder across 3 different PCs. Latest version even back ups the files to online space as well.
What I need to do for example is synchronise C:\Steam\Saves\Meatboy on PC1 with C:\Steam\Saves\Meatboy on PC2... I then also wish to do the same with C:\Steam\Saves\Bioshock...
I was not sure Dropbox would allow me to setup multiple folders to synch to at the same time, i.e set more than one target folder.
