Just heard from our closest friend that her son Nick (also my sons best mate) got into an altercation last night in Kingston. 2 groups of lads, started out OK with a bit of banter and no doubt the demon drink reared its head because the other group attacked Nicks group and fisticuffs started.
Nick tried to pull one of his mates away from the danger but was hit himself, fell down and struck his head on the kerb. All this was seen on CCTV monitor and emergency services called. After being transferred from Kingston Hospital Nick is now in St.Georges having had neurosurgery.
All seems well ATM, he woke up OK, has full recall and is chatting and joking! Still in ICU but maybe transferred to a ward this afternoon. Scrotes duly arrested and in custody. Dare not tell my son who is in NY, they've known each other since they were babies.
Seems like mayhem stalks our streets.
