Something using CPU power but i cant identify it!

If you can't easily see it in Task Manager, try Process Explorer:

On the task manager page go to the processes tab, there should be a button or tickbox that says 'show processes from all users' - depends on your OS, but should be along those lines.
Chances are its a system process that's running, it could be malware of some kind but identifying which process it is should be your first step.

Have you recently reinstalled Windows by any chance?
thnaks for the help, it was indeed a virus, vundo variant-msfake,
noticed it when trying to play a game, stuttered when it didnt before, thought it was xfire linked but then i saw the cpu, couldnt locate the culprit, superantispyware found it, malware bytes didnt!
Never had a virus before, and i didnt have it [or at least the effects] 3 hours ago!
