It happened again this afternoon. My phone was switched off in my pocket and I get a call on my watch telling me I'd called the police and I swear I hadn't touched the phone. I'm not one of those people who make hoax calls but if I get a vitsit from the police I don't have any way of proving I didn't make the calls.
I swear I'm g3nuinely worried and this isn't a hoax thread

Bloody hell I've had the same thing last saturday got a call from police someone had made an emergency call, got a call again today from them saying they had a missed call from this number again nothing to do with me. Just a dumbphone not android not smart not anything really they were pretty chill about it told them I didn't know what was going on cloned number maybe seriously thinking about changing the number

If it were me, I would be talking to my network provider and making 100% sure that it wasn't some kind of device I own dialing 999 for me. If they confirm it's not then perhaps they can offer some advice on how to proceed?

On my android phone Emergency SOS is disabled by default,

Ops phone probably has a poltergeist.

You can actually test this by removing your simcard and seeing if you can still dial 999

I'm not risking it. There're penalties for making hoax calls to the emergency services.
