Something wrong with screen resolution

hey i have a 19" widescreen monitor set at 1440x900 which is the right resolution however on the screen shot below i cannot see the clock usually in lower right hand corner or the X to close firefox

when reviewing the screenshot on imageshack, you can see the clock and the X for firefox but i cannot see it on my monitor.

Make sure your refresh rate setting for your monitor windows matches the optimal setting for your screen ( most likely going to be 70 or 75 ), I've seen wrong refresh rate settings causing the output display to do what you described.

Thanks Dutchman, the refresh rate was wrong, and now fixed
