I have 4 x 1 gig of ocz8500C5 Sli ready mem and a Asus P5N-T delux mobo with Bios 0802, now when i try to increase the speed of my memory i put in 1067mhz and the actual in bios and cpu-z reads 1050 as i increase this nothing changes till i hit 1089 then actual reads 1088mhz i cant get anything in between what am i overlooking ?
running cpu @ 3.15ghz @ stock and voltages to my ram is at 2.0v
Thanks

I had that on a NF6 Nvidia rig.

I cant remember fully the details but the AM2 CPU have gaps where the actual MHZ wont exist like the Nvidia 7000/8000 overclocks where 700mhz set is really 705mhz etc so 701/702/703/704 do nothing, its still 705mhz.

I dont want to go on incase total BS info till I remember fully the issue so I can Google it.

Its got something to do with Dividers.
