somewhere to go not too far from manchester?

Im bored and want to go somewhere this weekend, saturday - sunday.

The dogs have to be collected from kennels at 12pm on sunday, so needs to be no more than a couple of hours drive away really. (dont want to be getting up at 7am to drive home.

Ideas please?

You could go to practically any sort of place within a couple hours of Manchester.

Narrow it down a bit...

havent really thought it through properly, I just thought of going somewhere then!

im not sure, somewhere nice, for me and my bf to go, maybe with some nice walks?

I was going to say somewhere with seaside, but im guessing there wont be anywhere with vaguely clean sea nearby?

Correct.

Wander up some gigantic hills and enjoy the scenery then a romp on the evening in a B&B... breakfast in the morning and go home and collect your muts.
