ok so basically iv upgraded to a 980ti and a 4 k screen. but something seems of. im getting strange performance issues and crashing. im on windows 10. here is some performance examples
in lords of the fallen at ultra. im getting stuttering and dips at 1440p and im pritty sure i shouldent be getting any kind of frame rate drop with this card. another example is borderlands 3 horrible slowdown and fps drops when physix happens. any kind of physix enabled even at 1080p. witcher 3 not maintaining 60fps at ultra without hairworks and crashing regularly with no error message. the screen will freeze but the game will still be running. the worst thing that happend so far was with borderlands 3. i would be playing it then the screen would go black for a few seconds then come back and then would do it again and eventuly result in freezed screen.i was unable to shut down the game to get back to desktop either as the mouse pointer was invisble and shortcut commands to terminate the game would not work... however trying stuff like emulation on dolphin emulator witch is quite demanding as far as i know..no issues at all. most games run at 4k at 60fps not sure what to do. if anyones got any sugestions id be happy to try them.
