Sonic Boom

Yeah, that makes me believe this wasn’t just a simple comms problem as well.
It’s standard for a prolonged loss of comms (PLOC). If an aircraft goes quiet for a long time it almost certainly will be intercepted. The trip to Stansted is also highly likely unless there is an obvious and verifiable justification to let it continue. Bizjets by their very nature have enough question marks over them in general to almost guarantee the diversion.

always lame when you go an airshow to see a typhoon or whatever ever and 0 sonic booms even though they're flying over the bloody sea off the coast of Sunderland.

Probably for the best, be a lot of shattered windows at display hight and probably eardrums as well.
Re heat makes enough roar surly.

Red Arrows are almost the louding thing beside the tycoon up here.

just because everything else never flies over head it's really lame at Sunderland the planes literally are like 1-2 miles out at sea

The crowd display line does seem to get further and further away unfortunately.

If you want loud and close then sitting outside coningsby is good, closet RAF fast jet base to Sunderland now.

Bruntingthorpe was a best place for up close and loud, even if they weren’t flying. That’s come to a grinding halt now as well unfortunately.
