Sonic Generations

Got the retail PC version from Zavvi since Monday and have been playing this since. Great game and runs beautifully, bar a few stages where it can slow down a bit.

It is still a Steamworks title, so for those who don't want to play the actual Steam price, then the retail one will save you a couple £££.

Also good news for PC owners of this game, the Casino Night Pinball DLC will be available on Steam Boxing Day for a mere £0.99.

If you got a decent spec PC then yes, the game will run at a nice smooth 60fps+. A few times it may slow down to a crawl, the Chemical Plant Zone being the best example, but it's still faster than the console versions.

I do find that there can be a bit of a lag or unresponsiveness to the controls even when using the 360 pad.

Got SG this morning, probably played about 30 minutes worth. Progress feels very swift through the levels but it is pretty good. How long has it taken everyone who's completed it? Step in the right direction

Oh and I loaned out my 360 pad to a mate, so fumbling on the keyboard :p

I've put about 10 hours into the game in total but it only took just over an hour to finish the main story.
I keep going back to finish the challenges and improve times.

It's definitely the best Sonic game in quite sometime in my opinion :D
