sons or daughters?

Me and my wife are now trying for a baby but for some reason i cannot explain (not that i am really trying to) want a daughter

Dunno why ... in the end i guess when it comes down to it i just want to have a healthy baby more ....

Although I want neither, imagine the frustrations of having a teenage daughter...

Even being trained in control and restraint isn't enough to subdue a stroppy teenage girl.

my wife's already moaning that we gang up on her.... hehe ;)

I already have all his toys picked out for his christmas, and the next and the next :p

I reckon I can get 2 more christmases and birthdays before he says what he would like

There's a huge model truck in the shop for 150€ with my son's name on it.

:)

I reckon a boy because there is less to worry about as they grow up. I fully admit to not being a 'new man', so the thought of having to explain anything 'girly' later on in life scares me!
Also, I think most men would end up being more protective with daughters. For example....your son can go get himself into all sorts of trouble, as can your daughter, however, only one of them is ever going to come home pregnant...

So, I say sons...may be more of a handful in someways but less scary possibilities!

My wife's expecting in December, and tbh I'm not fussed.

As OP said, as long as mother & child are ok, that's the important bit.

When her first boyfriend visits, he'll find me in the kitchen sharpening my biggest kitchen knives.....
