Ive just bought one of these TV's to replace my sammy 32'' but thinking i may have made the wrong decision going for the 46'' , and should have gone for the 40'' with only sky SD as my tv source.

Ive not recieved the tv yet....Does anyone have the same lcd or similer size with only sky sd as the source?

If so whats the quality like?

Also im only about 8ft away from the tv.....Which i think maybe a little too close for this size of tv and may be too pixilated on the 46'' panel.

What do you think guys?

Thanks

Yeah could really do with the LCD for gaming.

Ive seen a 40'' verison of the same model and thought the sky sd quality was good , as good as my sammy 32'' which took an age to get the picture decent....which im pretty pleased with now but wanting somthing a little bigger....which is why i went for the sony.

Just unsure on whether ive gone too big for SD viewing.

Just a thought..ive bought it from ******-******.....Do you think if ive opend it they'd allow me to return it for a refund:confused:

Thanks

Get rid of the company name, its a competitor.

But yes you can return it, its written in the T&Cs

;)

Sorry forgot about that.

Edited now.....Thanks thats good then...if i have to pay a restocking fee.....Im not too fussed about that.

hopefully it'll be ok though....I thought if i got the 40'' id wish id of bought the 46''.:)

James, I read in another thread how you agree plasma is better PQ especially with SD but you admitted to owning an LCD. Can you remind me why you went LCD? I'm not far of buying myself a 40" and also thinking of a Sony LCD as people say the SD on them is quite acceptable.
Sorry, bit of a hijack there.

To the OP, seeing as you've now ordered the thing you may as well set it up and decide what you think of it. Chances are you'll be happy and just keep it

Yeah gonna do that....Just waiting on the thing now.
