They shouldn't have a problem loading SE ROMs on the phone though.

yea but they cant mod the SE roms and kernel because of the bootloader checking for signing. on the milestone they got round that same problem by forcing custom roms and kernel on over the top of the running android , skipping the bootloader i think. the issue before was that we needed root to do this.

a few devs are talking about it on xda and jerpleas is hinting at custom roms being on there way too.

That is the SEUS one :D

I have the Omnius one if needed :D

ive got the SEUS ones but it wouldnt play ball last week when i tried. going to try again now

edit - seus doesnt even give me the option to repair !!! gues thats what happens when you have mixed up rooted firmware on , flashing the 016dkk i got with omnius now to see what happens. i reckon SEUS will let me repair after that so i can atleast put the 016UK on with the seus trick

anyone know if any of the uk networks got this update ?

Lol, what is it with me. Bricked it again (tried to flash to UK 016 with Omnius and said wrong files again even though I tried it both ways round).

Model Number : X10i
Firmware version : 1.6
Baseband version: 1.1.25
Kernel version : 2.6.29-relsemc-android@SEMC #2
Build number: R2BA020

All settings and apps remain.

Update complete. It takes absolutely ages.

:D. To be honest, no. Then again ADW.Launcher was always very fast for me with the scroll delays set to minimal settings.

I was more after the better than 14hrs battery life I was getting on average.

edit:

Mediascape is a lot smoother.

Ahh. I have been getting over a day on mine with ease now :D

you will laugh when i actually say i dont prefer either OS :p i mean all i do is browse the web and listen to music , its just this macbook was cheaper than i could ever of got a same spec laptop for at the time :o due to a spoilt rich girl selling it !

i wouldnt mind windows 7 except for some horrid typing issues i keep getting with it probably due to not being bothered to update bootcamp. when im halfway through typing something it skips to random places in the text. and i obvs dont have an insert key :/

Ahh ok. Thank you. I have that many files I have lost track, should have labelled them better :D Thanks for the replies
