Im still going to say 1.6 with upgrade to 2.x sometime in the future.
I don't have the Satio any more mate. I moaned so much to Vodafone, they offered me iPhone 3GS. So ive sold the Satio on eBay
I'm not very impressed with the iPhone ether as its like my old N97 for making and recieving calls its just very poor signal. So ill more then likey eBay my iPhone, ive still got it on pre-order with SE direct.

I'm not a lover of the iPhone. Its pretty dire for all its hype. I've not been sold by the hype. It looks quite 1990s compared to new handsets.
Apple better make some really great and many improvements. It tries to be a lot of things, but rather poorly.
How much is the x10 direct?
Ive been told around £499.99, i should get a phone call once they start to recieve stock
However, the white handsets will have a small delay to start with.

That would be great, this phone is on my list come April. If its getting 2.1 soon after release then it would be a decider.
I am right in thinking that its only 2.1 that comes with google turn by turn gps software?
These are the software differences between 1.6 and 2.0, to me these seem very minor. I am looking for whats changed between verison 2.0 > 2.1 one a the mo.

Was all set to get an X10 for my upgrade in a couple of months, but then I noticed it's limited to 16GB SD cards. This gives a maximum storage capacity of 17GB, which is not going to be enough to last 18 months to 2 years.
The HTC Desire and HD2, and the Nexus One all take 32GB cards, which should be adequate.
Very disappointing this, if true, and would rule out the X10 for me at one fell swoop. Will keep an eye on updates to this, though...

I already have 16GB filled on my Omnia. About 10GB music, 2 or 3GB work, couple of gig photos, then a couple more for downloaded lectures and podcasts I want for the next week or two, then there's the apps as well. It soon goes, in my experience.
That's without thinking about video. If I wanted a few eps of a TV series or a few films to take on holiday, I'd be looking at another 6 or 7GB on top of that. That's without even attempting to account for the extra functions and utilities that might appear over the next two years or so.
If you could hot-swap card it would be ok, but it's not looking like that's possible. And without that it's just less practical. I'd much rather have 32GB storage on the Nexus One/HTC Desire than the extra features of the X10, but be limited to 16GB non-hot-swappable storage.
