Sounds about right. The X1 was £500 on release so it makes sense.

HTC phones are always £450 and SE smart phones look like they will always be £500 with Apple phones ranging from £350 to £550.

I noticed that you keep asking about google nav for 2.1.

I have a nexus with 2.1 and turn by turn DOES NOT work in the uk. They don't have a license for it. There is a hack out but its not 100% functionality

It does it acctually! This is my main reason for wanting 2.1 really, as I can't see many other advantages over it. nothing major anyway.

I can see me getting this over the HTC mostly for the pretyness.

Its not overly aesthetically pleasing, it may well be a very good phone. However, the plastics used look a bit cheap and nasty. That's one of the mean reasons. Also id rather buy a Sony Ericsson phone over a HTC. I've got nothing against HTC though, as i think the HTC Legend is fanstic looking phone.

To continue on what has become a good tradition it’s now time for unboxing of XPERIA X10 now when we have our first commercial samples here in the office. This time Gustaf is on vacation so my friend Mårten helped me out instead. We show the boxes for both colors of XPERIA X10 and also show a bit of what to expect in the box. We also tried to show a bit more of what the boxes look like since I guess most of you have seen quite a few videos of the phone by now
The clip is shot with Vivaz so to get an HD-experience remember to click Watch on YouTube and select 720p. (This will also show a bit on the continous auto focus working, it struggles a bit from time to time in indoor lighting but I think it does quite a good job! This time I also set white balance manually)
As for the earlier unboxings I’d like to remind about the fact that kit content differs between markets and service providers so there might be more things in the kit that will be available on your market.

I'm abit stuck about what colour to choose.

I played the whole time with the white one, while speaking with the SE guy and then when I decided to go I remembered that I wanted to check out the black one So the white one is very nice too. I thought it would be something exclusive but then I realized that the black one is exclusive too, not like other black phones. I think it comes from the large screen, the silver curved sides and the whole (very ergonomic) design. So if you hold it in your hand it is something very special.

My decision for the black one is simply that the white one is maybe a little bit more lady-ish And I do not need to highlight me before some iPhone user by showing it is also a white one I liked the "rubberized" back of the black one, too

So it definitely will become my next phone

PS: I meant the shipping to shops in Germany, that will begin next week - that what's the guy told me, and the price comparison sites in Germany confirm that, most of them say "March" or "18th March". Few others say April.

Black, what other choice is there? :p

White goods always look like pap, only slightly better than beige IMO, one of the reasons I would never have bought any Apple products, because they looked cheap and nasty. :D
