More disappointing news been reported by xibinim shocker

I was starting to get suspicious as to why nothing had been mentioned.
Sony Ericsson confirms DLNA not coming to Xperia X10 family

However there are 3rd party apps that can do DNLA.
This so called 'big UXP update' hasn't been that big - the changes to TS/MS are minor at best. At least we got DT (despite this been drenched in controversy as they said it wasn't capable or coming to the phone) but it is just another case of underwhelming half promises from SE or some of the reasons they give for e.g. not providing access to the bootloader. I know it isn't really a big deal but it just fuels my suspicions about SE and not believing what they say. UXP, for me, has been shoddy - the 3D gallery is much better. I did like parts of MS but was fairly laggy. TS - never used. SE aren't the only ones at pitching useless 'skins' - TouchWiz sounds pretty bad. HTC sense sounds like it is getting worse. MotionBlur - not heard about this, any comments? I think that is pretty much it for the X10 now - probably just a few firmware updates. The Desire will be getting updated to Gingerbread officially - though we do have it on the X10 thanks to XDA (currently in Alpha or Beta stage I think).
I love my X10 but only recently when 2.1 one came and some real progress was made over at XDA. It is still a very good phone but only 'very good' with XDA's work. Anyway moving on....
Xperia arc Home Launcher now available for X10
Install the Xperia arc Home Launcher
1) Download the files you need from
here.
2) Unzip the zip file and you will find four apk files (DigitalClockWidget, GenieWidget, Home and PhotoWidget).
3) Copy the files over to your handset using the USB cable or something like Dropbox (our preferred method).
4) Use Astro (or an alternative file manager) to locate the files and install.
5) Optional: You may want to install ‘Home Switcher’ from the Android Market to easily switch between launchers.
Looks quite nice and they are reporting it runs pretty well including the pinch zoom for the home screen widgets
Some people are saying they can't get the digital clock widget to work - possible solution is to be rooted and uninstall the 'digital clock widget' with Titanium.
Runs on mine but noticeably laggy - using BlueSparks 2.1 ROM.
