Baseband is the radio, .67 is the latest one from SE, supposedly improves battery life, and people are presuming its coming ready for 2.3update.

im returning back to stock 2.1 for a bit to see how long i can make it last, i will re root another time, but for now i can make do with out flashing a new rom every night :o

So just flash with SEUS again? or some other way of doing it?

You can flash it via flashtool, backup first in Xrecovery, it also depends on what rom your running, most 2.1 roms should work fine, im just on a stock 2.1 rom now as i was tierd of poor battery life and updating lol.

Its very quick to, and i also prefer the stock camera app with facial tracking .

Not quite sure what you mean Insane, surely if i flashed with Seus to stock 2.1 id get the new BB no? im all for making things nice and simple for myself, and using Xrecovery and Seus doesnt get any simplier lol.

I think he means that you should check to see if the current ROM you are using is compatible with the new BB. Then you should make a backup with Xrecovery then use the flashtool to put on the new BB.

no you wont as its only out in a few countries , download the german rom from xda

once you download the rom pop it into a folder called firmware,it should be in the same place as flashtool, the run flashtool select firmware and the german rom then hit flash,it will tell you to put the german phone into fastboot iirc, by turning off then plugging in the usb while holding back then sit back and wait, this will wipe everything

Scrap my previous drivle, its actually easier than using xrec and all that, so i just flashed the BB not the rom itself, working fine on Wolfs rom.

The battery optimisation guide has worked wonders. Lasted almost 3 days on one charge.

Haven't got round to installing the new BB yet, will do that when the version of Wolfs ROM is out.

Wolfbreaks TW007 rom is out, and my god its super fast and slick only had it on for a day but the battery life is slightly better than 006 in standby/sleep modes, theres a few little issues with the UI in places but he is working with a Themer to get them sorted as soon as possible. This is probably the last rom ill be using, as 2.3 should be rolling out in the next couple of months so this will do for now :).

haven't tried it yet, im running TripnMiui 1.6.5 with stock kernal, and its fantastic, the screen looks extremely sharp and vibrant, battery life on miui seems to be better than any other rom to.

I remember when the bootloader was "bypassed" and all of the wonderful things that would follow with custom kernels, not really seen anything to be honest. I think I will figure out how to flash to 67 (Flashtool is giving me grief) and use the normal version.

Whats happening in flash tool ? tbh i think there only a couple of basebands that work with custom kernals

For Wolfbreak's CM (custom kernel) - I think it is BB 52. Doesn't matter - used my laptop instead and flashed no problem. This time I MUST remember to save my Angry Birds Rio game :o

EDIT - hhhmm I may have the reset loop thing. Restarted twice so far though I do remember doing this once before and after a few times - it resolved itself.

you may need to crash the server in dev tools-bad behaviour if you get enough time.

any one on 2.1 should download the sony panorama app from the market, its brilliant, works the same as their cameras, and sweep the phone to take a panoramic photo.

Xda has a flashable file for custom roms over 2.1, im using it on 2.2.1 miui, the only thing is the flash doesnt work.

Awsome ill give that a go later, got to say i like wolfs 007 rom and so far no issues at all, one thing to note though, when i first installed, i got a bootloop for 3 times, then the 4th it stayed on, so not sure what that was but all is fine.

Ive been using this one currently, i love the Honeycomb style XDA Link Plus Shiwantha is working directly with Wolf to help make the UI better on the rom itself, plus making his themes improved to work with the 007.
