few questions more

1) I would like to put a 4 digit lock on my phone, but how do i do it? when I go into locks it asks me for a 8 digit number you have to type in and it keeps saying denied.

2) Is there anyway I can change the tone for when I recieve a text message, the pre set ones are rubbish?

For the lock, go to locks and phone lock, then change code. When it asks for the old code try 0000, then press ok and type whatever you want for your code.

For changing message tones go to File Manager and Sounds, find the sound you want and press the right button for more, then go to use as, and choose message alert.

well the 512mb Im keeping for pictures etc and the I bought a sony 2gb memory stick for music and now thats filled up I need at least another 3 for my other songs.

just got a w800i for £50 (new in box, not an upgrade but not dodgy) while i wait for the insurance to sort my MDA Compact.

Another question:

Ive put lock on but is there anyway I can get the lock on when it comes out of standby? I only get asked when I turn the phone on.
Ive tried automatic and On in the options.
