Sony Ericsson W995

Hi,

I have been thinking about buying a W995 as my current K850i is pants and has issues !
So I like the Music software, and the camera on the W995. The only think that I am not sure about is the WiFi !
As this is not normal WiFi, in that I think I have to sign up for Cloud / BT Open Zone WiFi which mobiles use !
I was hoping to use the WiFi for BBC iPlayer element the phone supports.
So do I need to have the cloud to use WiFi out side of my house WiFi router area ?

Is there any option or indeed should I be looking at other mobiles. I do not want to sign up to iPhone3 or 4 as I really do think they are over priced ! :confused:

Well first of all you posted in the wrong section

...secondly i just bought one for my mum and she loves it..its a very nice phone...

As for the WIFI??...i had it connected to my wifi at home but im pretty sure like all WIFI enabled phones you can connect to any wifi network....dont know about the iplayer app on it as i havent tried it myself.

wifi should work with any wifi router

Well I will look into buying one on the web, Spawn, where did you get your W995 from ?

Cant name them as they are a competitor sorry but do a google search and the site where i got mine from should come up...they do all sorts dvds, games etc.
