Sony LCD/LED TV

The neoPDP range have issues with floating blacks, increasing black level due to voltage increases as well as buzzing. The standout TV's this year for me are the Sony Bravia EX503, LG LD690 and the Sharp LE700.

Yes the EX5xx LCD's are great sets this year, people with a pre-disposition against LCD's should take a look. I did and was very impressed.

No motion problems that i have spotted, very good black levels (that won't change over time :p *cough* Plasma) and no buzzing.

Another vote for the EX503.. I originally bought a Panasonic G20 Plasma to replace my buzzing Panasonic Plasma.. It had the same buzzing (a lot of people have complained about the buzzing) so I sent it back for a refund.. I then bought the Sony EX503 and I am very impressed.. Picture is very good, the features are very good (the internet streaming is very good, streams HD no problem) and (to me) no buzzing. :) I know some people complain about buzzing on LCD screens, but if you read the forums a lot more people complain about buzzing on plasmas.

I've just installed a 40" EX703 today for my Gfs dad... and I'm very impressed with it.

SD and HD is far superior to my 40W4500...

The setup and freeview tuner are also very good.

I want one now lol
