Sony Vaio replacment battery

Really need to get a new battery for my Sony VAIO VGN-FE11H Laptop
Seems to be loads around but, how do I know what if they are anygood as so many people seem to sell them for the vaio??

Any advice or good company to deal with would be appreciated

I've been thinking about getting one for my FE31H. I think it's important to make sure that the specs are the same as the original (check your existing battery). Also, beware of higher capacity batteries, as they often protrude out the bottom of the laptop, although you may be ok with that.

I just don't bother with ebay unless the company is a UK one, and there are plenty of web-based retailers out there. Make sure they have a phone number (ring it to check), and preferably a postal address. Buy it on your credit card, and take advantage of distance selling regs/returns if it's not any good (again, ebay is probably best avoided for this reason, I suppose).

Maybe a bit pricey, as I'm sure I found some around the £40 mark. I suppose they were Hong Kong based though.

Thanks for the info, really appreciated. The last link you gave me seems good, as they also take Paypal, so should be a safe bet. I dont really mind if the battery protudes a little, if it would give me more usage.

my fw11's battery is dead as well

Roll on wirless energy transfer..I dont think I have ever had a lap top battery that has lasted well . I will make sure I cycle this one more often, and remove when running on power. I was also told never store below 50% for a period of time.
