I've searched and there doesnt seem to be a thread for these
From what I can tell they are the main competitor to the Apple Airpod pro so find it hard to believe no-one has created one yet.
I've ordered a pair of WF-1000XM4 earphones which are due to arrive today.
They are to replace my Apple Airpod gen1 which only last about 1.5 hours now. The gen 1 Airpods stay in my ears fine and sound great to me. My only gripe is they drop out my ears slowly when running and I start sweating, when the sweat slowly goes into my ears. (anyone know if you can get Airpod gen 1 / gen 2 pod covers that are more resistent to sweat?)
I tried some (my girlfriends) Apple Airpod pros and I can't get the correct fit at all, even trying all the different sized silicon buds the fit test always comes back yellow. I have to press them into my ears for the fit test to go green.
In comparison to gen 1 Airpods they just sound flat / weak which I guess is down to the earbud seal. My girlfriend says they sound great and the noise cancelling works perfectly - she can't hear me when i'm talking to her, right next to her
My ideal buds would be Airpod gen 1 with water/sweat resistence and noise cancelling. With that in mind I also ordered some Airpod gen 2s aswell as they are the only ones that are the same shape to the gen 1. At least the battery life will be good again.
I am slightly worried the 1000XM4s will be slightly annoying to take in and out my ears and also create a banging sound when running due to the seal. We'll see as hopefully they work great for casual out and about wearing and gym / running.
Can anyone with the WF-1000XM4s confirm/deny they are happy with them during exercise and they dont drop out or create and strange thumping noises - jogging / running / sprinting specifically
