Sony working on PS4!

Not surprising - now it will be interesting to see who releases first this time - ms or sony.

One might be out late 2012 early 2013...
 
With the recent rumours about a new Xbox, sounds like Sony want a little bit of media coverage too, and also some sort of story to take away from the whole PSN issue...
 
I've heard that the PS4 will be one long stream of OS updates, thus preventing the need for anyone to purchase actual games. :p
 
Finally, pretty tired of the antiques holding back the industry which practically stopped in 2005.

Maybe things will start to move on again, oh wait they have already, thanks to DICE. All the people that try to justify console ownership to PC gamers need to get a grip and remember that the PC versions of the titles are much higher res and run much quicker, I upgrade my PC when I want because I can afford it, console owners often seem very sour about and try to use it as a negative point, how the hell is it negative point I really dont know.

As for console exclusives and the PC not getting any, the people that makes these comments clearly have no idea what they are talking about, there are many PC exclusives often a fraction of the cost of console games.

I hate the PC vs console arguments but when people dont know what they are talking about it really gets on my nerves. I'm looking forward to the new consoles, I might even buy one like I did with the 360 when that first came out but dont try and make the current gen out to be something they are not, they have their share of great titles and exclusives but so does the PC.
 
I think this thread needs to be locked - its gone on a tangent for no reason whatsoever :rolleyes:. Can the PC guys FO to their forum - takes someone special to not realise they are in the wrong forum, wrong thread and still post irrelevant crap ;)

It stArted as it was suggested that pc gamers have to constantly need upgrades they don't its a choice, I love my ps3 and probably use that more thAn anything at the moment and am looking forward to mh:hd

I dont get why you're feeling sorry for me. I didnt say there arent any good games on PC. I said the ones I like are few and far between. The games I do like, I buy. Cant wait for the New Elderscrolls for instance. There are a few good ports on PC, GTA4 and Mass effect, Dead Space, and Also Last Remnant (Which beats the hell out the Console version). But PC exclusive wise, They always seem to be shallow, without substance and lacking of artistic direction. They do get massive resolutions and framerate, but thats not enough for me.

People keep saying PC games are held back by consoles, and yet I dont know any PC games that arent ports, with substance similar to half the exclusives available on Console! With the exception of The Witcher.

Dont feel sorry for me, I play the PC games that are worth my time, the ones that feel like they have depth. Which is why I spend most my time Console gaming.

I think you need to realise that there are many in here who also own a gaming PC, and were playing video games while you were still ******** in your nappy, so quit the elitist attitude.
