*** Sony Xperia Z3 Compact ***

I've cancelled my iPhone 6 order for one of these, ordered from Handtec today with saturday delivery option, worth the extra tenner imo.

Money saved from Iphone 6 going towards PS4 :D

The battery life will increase over the next few days too, as it beds in. Keep us updated on battery life! :)

It lasted the first day of new phone syndrome with 43% left when I put it on charge at 10pm it was taken off charge at 6.30am that morning.

It's got the battery life of a tablet it appears.

Not that impressed with the battery life on this. Finished the day with 20% with it being on for 11h

I hit 4hr SOT.

Having said that I did switch the phone off and on at least 5 times trying to do a software update so will keep an eye on it and give it a few days.

Isn't this phone reported accross multiple sources to have the best battery life of all the phones?

ANyways, mine arrived this morning, just updating and transferring data from my iphone 5.

Does anyone know how to restore my whatsapp messages from iphone to z3c?

There's software to do this, it cost, search google but if ya know any other way let us know as that's what I need to do, also what is the software like taking stuff off ios to android?

My battery was alright really - I received it with about 65% charge and didn't touch it, restored my account and messed around with the phone quite a bit. Charged it on about 10% at circa 10pm then its been off charger from circa 1am till now and it's still sitting 70%ish.

With zero effort to conserve battery it'll last me a full day, whereas my nexus 4 would give me circa 10 hours of my usage before needing charged, even with brightness down and gps off etc. Quite happy in that sense.

Really need a cover now as the phone is quite slippy so have ordered some cheapy clear ones plus will see what clove send.

How do you find it to use vs the Nexus 4? Presumably the screen size feels essentially the same. How is the software vs a Nexus device? I'm considering making the same move, particularly if the rumours around the size of the next Nexus are true.

my battery is way better than the nexus 5 was, 1d 4h with fairly light use and it's at 71%. This is with everything turned on so disabling some features would easily see a long weekend away with no issues.

Yeah really like it so far.

Its a bit narrower than the nexus so it took a bit of adjusting to the keyboard, but putting the google keyboard back on really helped that way.

The screen itself seems much more vibrant in colour and is much netter for video or images, in terms of software I don't really notice the Sony stuff so far - well after taking all the standard sony guff off the pages.

The only slight criticism I have is that the icon sizes are a little big for the home screens - might be I've just not figured out how to re arrange the grid though!

I had over 5 hrs screen time earlier, when I plugged it in it was on 35%

The battery seems to be much better today, presuming it improves with each cycle.

Nice pictures by the way, I like the orange / red combo it reminds me of the orange Nexus 5.
