Anyone used this ? You basically pay £2.50 (PSP/PS2) or £5 a month (PS3) which, if your system buggers up, sony will replace instantly.

Now, ive owned a PS2 for ages, and its constantly screwed up all the time, ive been through about 6 systems (first 4 replaced under warranty, the next 2 i paid £50 for each). I was wondering, couldnt i just ring up, get it replaced, and then cancel the service, spending only £2.50 to get refurbished unit ?

Thanks in advance :)

Bit on top though i reckon they would probably clock on, is there no minimum contract length? You could buy a load of cheap broken ones of the bay n send them back lol.

Presumably you have to pay the monthly fee per console.

The FAQ's and T&C's don't really suggest that there is only one contract per household or any minimum contract terms (although I have only speed read them).

Ah yes, fair enough.

They'd be even more frowned upon if they made people sign up to a service that cost £5 a month.

Didn't think of that!
