Sopranos Box sets on ebay...

Lovely Wolver-ampton!
Loads of people selling season 1-5 boxes and all seem to be under £30. am tempted but a bit hesitant...has there beem some speical offer that ive missed???
 
i thought that but they look genuine.... says that they have *some foreign writing" on the boxes, but that they all play fine, uk region2...

hmm....

moral dilemma.....

cant do it. as tempted as i am, id like to buy the original box sets not knock offs, however cheap. i love the sopranos, it's such a cool program!

I'm very much the same mate, I just bought a DVD for £16.99 from HMV when I could get it for about a quid or potentially free but I just won't do it, if no one pays for stuff then there is no reason to make it in the first place, so if you really like something then its worth putting the money towards it.

Along the same lines - I still see people describe themselves as "fans" of a film, television program, group yet openly admit they download the film, episode of the program, songs/tracks from illegal/certainly not legal locations.
Yet they still call themselves fans....

Good call if you decide not to go ahead and buy the proper thing.
Might cost you that little bit more but worth it in the long run.
 
Seasons 1 and 5 are currently going for £28 online and the others are around £35 from the same place. It's not really that big a price difference and it's definately worth it to have the real thing.
EDIT: oh you mean the whole lot for £30. Definately bootlegs and definately don't encourage them.
 
I'm going to ask for this to be locked as the OP has decided that legit is the right thing and all its going to do is attract attention to how cheap these auction site bootlegs actually are.
