A stolen Subaru crashes and all four occupants die:-

Nicholas Long, IPCC Commissioner for Yorkshire, said: "Four people died this morning in a tragic incident.

"My thoughts are with their families at this difficult time.

I'm sorry, but I'm not so generous. These people go out of their way to make other peoples lives miserable, by stealing their property, and wasting taxes cleaning up the mess they leave. Worse still they risk innocent peoples lives with their antics...

Sorry if I find it hard to dish out sympathy for them...

With you there. You only get off with crime for so long. Any death is sad but you do feel it is a just reward. To add a religious quotation... 'the wages of sin is death'.

...and what is it that their families have done that is so henious as to not deserve any sympathy? The way I see it is that the only people who don't really deserve any sympathy here are already dead.

Why not feel sympathy for their families? Imagine if your son/daughter got killed like this. The grief and shame would both be overwhelming.

The only people I feel sorry for in this situation are the owner of the stolen Subaru and the Chip Shop owner.
If you're going to steal a car and mess around, I'd rather you were dead.

Edit: We should look on the bright side though, that's 4 pieces of car thieving **** dead. :D Unfortunate for some but at least they wont be stealing again.

Their families have of course done nothing wrong. But I think public sympathy should go in equal doses to the no doubt countless lives these four people have made hell at times, the countless lives these four people have no doubt repeatedly risked.

These articles always seem to gloss over the fact these people are scum. How dare they cause so much grief and hassle to other people, just for their own selfish criminal pleasure.

The indiviauls who stole the car and died are absolutley shocking. Their family, friends, people they met the odd time, pets, school friends, teachers, family doctor, acquantences and anyone they have ever looked at should be tarred with the same brush and we should kill them all for being involved.

...

Edit:- Hang on, forgot the obligatory :rolleyes::rolleyes:

When someone turns to crime it's all down to the parents (of course!) so without knowing any detail whatsoever about the case I can quite happily say "screw you families of the deceased, you got what was coming! mwahahahahaha!"
