You remember correctly. I managed to make my old Hyundai last another month by, would you believe, hitting the back of it every time I turned it on. It got to the point where I couldn't do this anymore because.. well... things got worse obviously!
Your advice of just going for the P2450H is good but those TN restrictions on the viewing angles sound awful. I don't know how people put up with it, I suppose it depends what you're used to.
Nevertheless I may just go for it. This n110 netbook I'm using now must have an LED screen and it's pretty much fine for what it does. I'm probably being just too picky.
How can there be all these glowing reviews for TN panels on OCUK if there are uneven colours and bad viewing angles?
