Im selling a car stereo at the moment and a possible buyer has sent me a question..

Q: hiya mate, would it be ok to arrange my own courier to collect the item from you? It would most likely be DHL to come and collect, it's just a faster approach.cheers

He has no feedback and Im pretty new myself to ebay.

Ive stated that my delivery method would be Royal Mail 1st class recorded.

I just don't want to end up taking payment, the item going and then him getting the money back or whatever.

?

He's been Member since: 23-Apr-06 and has never bought or sold anything.

This is common if the buyer feels that your shipping charges are too high. How much are you charging? I would simply cover yourself and say no, you will be shipping the item yourself via your preferred method.

Im charging £7.99. Thats what other people selling my item were charging. I could suggest sending it out Royal Mail special delivery next day I suppose for the same price?

Ok Ive currently got 3 bidders (selling for a lot more than I expected it to)

But why would the first bidder bid £80 and then increase to £90 without a rival bid? When the auction started at £62? As I say Im new to this really only ever done buy it nows. So sorry for the probably basic questions.
