Sort of monitor related...

If I were to buy a 32" TV that was full HD, would it better to get an LCD or Plamsa model if I was intending on occasionally using it as a monitor.

Further, is there anything important I should know about when doing this?

Ok sorry to add to the topic:

1.The Dell 3007wfp comes in revision A02, what does this mean in practical differences to the A01 revision?

2. What does HC edition mean?

High colour, more gamut or something

3. I have a 8800GT 512mb, does this have "dual dvi"?

4. Will the above card be powerful enough to drive the monitor?

5. Is there any reasion a 3008 is much better than a 3007?
Apparently it has more lag and more connections, so a gift and a curse
